April in Indonesia

The family went to Tangkuban Perahu, a volcano in Lembang for the day. Boiling eggs in the boiling water.

Lane standing in front of steaming rocks and sulfur. He had a blast running all over the volcano and boiling eggs.

This pic is for my partner, Trevor. I took a pic of him just like this 3 years ago. I think my rock is bigger Trevor!

Marianne soaking her feet in the water at the volcano

Lake of sulfur in one of the craters. What a beautiful creation made by God. Every rock, every boiling water hole, and every sulfur fume was created by our awesome God.

Trish and Marianne at the bottom of the volcano

Matt Glass and me went to Pak Andi's village for the day. He and his wife are reading their new book by Paul Washer. Pak Andi and his wife are Sundanese believers and speak mostly bahasa Sunda, however, Paul Washer's book is translated into bahasa Indonesia. Pak Andi speaks some Indonesian, so he is soaking it up in this photo

Pak Andi's remote village at the top, Ciwagung

Pak Andi's wife served us lunch dried salted fish and rice. This is their main diet for a typical day.

The trail to the Pak Andi's village. When it rains it is very slippery. Much of the time we have to park on the trail somewhere because it gets to muddy and slippery.

Matt Glass with HeartCry. We enjoy hiking up to villages and spending time with people.

Pak Alvin beside his Angkot. Pray for Pak Alvin. He has become a good friend and we see much of him.

Marianne choosing a book to read.

Marianne hunting for eggs on Easter Day. Our little Princess is growing fast.

Lane hunting for eggs on Easter Day. Our big boy has enough energy to handle a whole army.

Lane and Marianne coloring their eggs for Easter Day. They miss doing this with their cousins, so we tried to make this a special time for them.

On our porch behind our house. This snake had a grip that would not let go. I caught him and he still would not let go of the bird. This typical snake is not harmful to humans, but can still give a nasty bite.
